GMT II Ceramic Dial

It has a couple of new features. The number one thing is the ceramic basel which is scratch-proof. It took 40 to 50 hours just to make this basel. It's etched out and is so tough and scratch proof. I think the numerals are etched with platinum, so that it will not fade. The casing is also new - it's a larger size. There's also a new clasp.

It's the first among the professional sports series. The stainless steel used is called 904L and it's special because it's also used in the space shuttle.

The watch is very hot in Asia especially Singapore and Hong Kong. It's being sold at list price without discount. The only place you can get it at a discount is through a parallel importer.

IWC Mark XII Ladies Photo Stream

This is no longer in production. Seeing how IWC goes with a Macho marketing line this is indeed a rare watch. Don't think they are gonna make any more ladies watches.

Cyclops Knocked off Explorer II - picture posted on TimeZone by forum participant from Denmark

I just found out that the cyclops is the magnifying bubble thingy on some rolex sports models over the date function.

Read the full thread here with more beautifully taken photos. The Explorer II is definitely my favourite among all the Rolexes. Very pretty.
